Request for an electronic business registry certificate

Business Registrars are the only public officials authorised to certify the entries made in the Registry.
To request an Electronic Registry Certificate users must be registered for the service or identify themselves using an electronic signature.

You can apply for three types of certifications:

  • Certification of validity and position: this certifies the the validity of a society and of all the companys legal representatives who currently hold office.
  • Certification of position: this certifies the validity of a society and the representatives of that particular society
  • Certification for Electronic issuance of Certificates of the Legal Representatives: the same as the certification of position but in this case it communicates the revoking of the position in the registry when this takes place, for the purpose of updating the positions in a company included in the registry.

Representatives refers to company directors, managers and legal representatives.

Cost of the service:

The issuing of the certificate incurs the fees established in the Business Registrars fee Schedule approved by D 757/1973 of 29 March 1973 (Amounts converted into Euros, Official Spanish State Gazette 150/2002).

The Certificate can be downloaded in two formats, in electronic format, viewed through a special viewer provided by the Registrars Association or it can be downloaded in PDF format for printing, with a Safe Verification Code.  The authenticity of this code can be checked in the website established for that purpose.  The link to this website is included in the Code itself.
